Anatomical Pathology Residency Program
Queen's University at Kingston offers a fully accredited training program in anatomical pathology. Residents are exposed to a full spectrum of diagnostic services, with many subspecialty services (Clinical services).
In addition, research programs, under the School of Graduate Studies and Research at Queen's University, are offered to qualified students, leading to the degrees of Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Training and experience in various research fields may be obtained concurrently with the residency program.
Thrombosis and hemostasis, cancer biology and cyto and molecular genetics are the areas of active research within the department (Research). Queen's Pathology has a well-developed outreach program that provides residents with community hospital experience.
